The Gyeongui Line and the Jungang Line were joined into a single through-running service on December 27, 2014. It runs from Munsan in the northwest through Yongsan to Jipyeong in the east, which makes it one of the longest commuter lines in the capital region. HelloSubway types 53 stations.
The route
The Gyeongui side runs Munsan, Paju, Wollong, Geumchon, Geumneung, Unjeong, Yadang, Tanhyeon, Ilsan, Pungsan, Baengma, Goksan, Daegok, Neunggok, Haengsin, Gangmae, Korea Aerospace University, Susaek, Digital Media City, Gajwa, Hongik University, Sogang University, Gongdeok, Hyochang Park and Yongsan.
The Jungang side continues Ichon, Seobinggo, Hannam, Oksu, Eungbong, Wangsimni, Cheongnyangni, Hoegi, Jungnang, Sangbong, Mangu, Yangwon, Guri, Donong, Yangjeong, Deokso, Dosim, Paldang, Ungilsan, Yangsu, Sinwon, Guksu, Asin, Obin, Yangpyeong, Wondeok, Yongmun and Jipyeong. Past Paldang the line follows the Han upstream into the countryside.
