Later extensions reached Ilsan in the northwest and Ogeum in the southeast, so the line now links the new towns of Goyang with Gyeongbokgung Palace and Apgujeong. In HelloSubway it runs from Daehwa to Ogeum, 44 stations in all.

The longest names are Police Hospital (경찰병원) at 13 keystrokes, then Express Bus Terminal (고속터미널) and Nambu Terminal (남부터미널) at 12. The shortest need only four: Seoul National University of Education (교대), Daechi (대치) and Suseo (수서). For a 44-station line that is light, because most names are two syllables.
