The Piccadilly line opened in December 1906 between Finsbury Park and Hammersmith. In 1932 and 1933 it was extended north to Cockfosters and west toward Uxbridge and Hounslow, and later it reached the terminals at Heathrow Airport, which makes it one of London's two main rail links to the airport along with the Elizabeth line. HelloSubway types it from Cockfosters to Heathrow Terminal 5.
