Myeongdong shopping streets: exits 5 to 10
VisitKorea gives exits 5 and 6 as the way into Myeongdong and describes the shopping area as surrounding exits 5 to 10. If you are coming on Line 2 instead, Euljiro 1-ga Station's exits 5, 6 and 7 lead to the north side of the same district.
Myeongdong Cathedral: exit 8 or 9
Visit Seoul lists Myeongdong Cathedral as 590 metres from exit 8 and 425 metres from exit 9. Exit 12 of Euljiro 3-ga Station on Line 2 is about the same distance, 561 metres.
Namsan Cable Car: exit 3 or 4
The cable car to Namsan and N Seoul Tower starts about 571 metres from exit 4. The cable car company describes two walks. From exit 4, head toward the Hoehyeon intersection, turn left at the intersection and walk about five minutes to the Ohreumi incline elevator, which takes you up to the cable car. From exit 3, follow the alley keeping to the right and walk about seven or eight minutes uphill between the Pacific Hotel and a GS25 convenience store.
Typing it
In the game Myeongdong is 명동, six keystrokes in Hangul. It comes after Chungmuro and before Hoehyeon on Line 4.
Exit numbers and distances here are the ones published by Seoul's official tourism sites. Stations get rebuilt and exits are sometimes closed for works, so check the signs in the station as well.
