Paris Métro Line 8: all 38 stations from Balard to Pointe du Lac

From Balard under the Grands Boulevards and out across the Marne to Créteil. The hardest Paris line to type. 38 stations, 593 keystrokes.

Line 8 opened on July 13, 1913, between Beaugrenelle and Opéra. It was pushed north to Richelieu - Drouot in 1928 and on to Porte de Charenton in 1931, and in 1937 it was rerouted from La Motte-Picquet - Grenelle to a new end at Balard. It crossed the Marne into the suburbs and reached Créteil - Préfecture in 1974, then Pointe du Lac in 2011.

Leaving Balard, Line 8 stops at Lourmel, Boucicaut, Félix Faure, Commerce, La Motte-Picquet - Grenelle, École Militaire, La Tour Maubourg, Invalides, Concorde, Madeleine, Opéra, Richelieu - Drouot, Grands Boulevards, Bonne Nouvelle, Strasbourg - Saint-Denis, République, Filles du Calvaire and Saint-Sébastien - Froissart.
