The Sillim Line opened on May 28, 2022. It was Seoul's first rubber-tyred light metro and runs without drivers on a signalling system developed in Korea (KRTCS). It covers 7.8 km between Saetgang in Yeongdeungpo-gu and Gwanaksan in Gwanak-gu.
The stations
From Saetgang the line runs Daebang, Seoul Regional Office of Military Manpower, Boramae, Boramae Park, Boramae Medical Center, Danggok, Sillim, Seowon, Seoul Nat'l Univ. Venture Town and Gwanaksan. It connects to Line 9 at Saetgang, Line 1 at Daebang, Line 7 at Boramae and Line 2 at Sillim.
