Green Park is served by the Jubilee, Piccadilly and Victoria lines and sits on the edge of Green Park itself. Along with St. James's Park, it is one of the two Tube stations that serve Buckingham Palace.

The exits

The station has entrances on both sides of Piccadilly. The northern entrance is in Devonshire House, on the corner with Stratton Street, and the southern one is on a piece of land taken from the park. The articles give no exit for the palace, so follow the signs. The Mall, the ceremonial approach, runs from Admiralty Arch across St James's Park to the Victoria Memorial and the palace gates.

The Changing of the Guard

The forecourt of Buckingham Palace is used for the Changing of the Guard, a major ceremony and tourist attraction, held daily from April to July and every other day in the other months.

What else is near

The station is also close to the Ritz Hotel, the Royal Academy of Arts, St James's Palace, Berkeley Square, Bond Street, the Burlington Arcade and Fortnum & Mason. Spencer House is one of the sights the game shows for the station.

Where to eat

Fortnum & Mason, at 181 Piccadilly, was founded in 1707 by William Fortnum and Hugh Mason. The main store has a tea shop and several restaurants, and it is known for its food hampers. The Wolseley is at 160 Piccadilly, next to the Ritz. It reopened as a restaurant in 2003 in a building that had been Wolseley Motors' offices and then a Barclays bank, and it works as an all-day café in the Grand European style. Check opening hours before you go.

Typing it

Green Park appears on three lines you can type: Victoria, Piccadilly and Jubilee.

Checked against the English Wikipedia articles for the station and the sights on 7 October 2026. Stations are rebuilt and exits close for works, so follow the signs in the station as well.
